Great Research surveyed 750 Australians on what cars they drive and their political preference. Those who said they support the Greens live up to it: nearly 18% did not have a car, compared to only 4% of Liberal supporters. The most popular car brand for Labor voters was a Holden, followed by Ford. For Liberals it was Toyota followed by Holden. In South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania Holden was the most popular brand, whereas in New South Wales, Queensland, and in the territories Toyota was more popular.
